A microbial revolution: Improving mycorrhizal fungi to increase cassava productivity in Africa

The overall goal of this project is to investigate whether there is a rationale for a molecular-based breeding program on AMF to improve cassava productivity in Africa in the conditions under which cassava is normally grown and to assess some aspects of the potential environmental impacts of AMF application.
