Paul Mbe-Mpie Mafuka
Dr. Paul Mafuka is currentlyProfessor at the University of Kinshasa at the Department of Natural Resource Management. He was the General Director of the national institute of agriculture research in D.R. Congo in 2006 to 2007. He is a Principal Consultant of the project on the climatic change in D.R. Congo. He was the Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Adviser in the Office of the First Minister, a Technical Adviser of the Minister of the Environment and Nature Conservation. He served as a Dean loaded of Research to the Faculty of the Agronomy of the University of Kinshasa and as the Dean of the Faculty.
He has served on the Board of Directors of ASARECA on 2006 and he served as a Chair Person of Soil Water Management network for ASARECA for a long time, from 2000 to 2004. He is currently a member of the Steering Committee of CIAT-AFNet (the African Network for Soil Biology and Fertility).
He studied in D.R. Congo and Belgium and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Agriculture. He is an Agricultural Engineer. He did his PhD on Soil Science and a Doctoral degree on Applied Natural Science.
