    The conference on “Building resilience against crop diseases: a global surveillance system (GSS)” is organized by CIAT and supported by the Rockefeller Foundation.

    James Legg, IITA Entomologist/Epidemiologist based in Tanzania, is among the renowned experts from around the globe invited to build resilience against crop diseases. James will give a presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 15:00 – 16:00 Presentations and discussion (Case study, community phytosanitation).

    The fourth Annual Progress Review and Planning meetings of the AfricaYam Project:  Enhancing yam breeding for increased productivity and improved quality in West Africa, will be held from 26 February – 02 March 2018 at Tiama Hotel, Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire. Scientists and international partners on the project from Nigeria, Benin, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, USA, UK, France and Japan will convene to review progress made in the previous year and to develop an effective work plan for 2018.
