Training opportunities


 
Training courses are offered to national SADC scientists, NGOs and partners within the framework of SARRNET. In the phase I of the project, SARRNET has made notable achievements in developing human resources as a foundation for strengthening NARS and their networking capacities towards achieving results. Over 235 candidates were trained in root crops research and development through short courses, attachments, and exchange visits. Six have been trained for masters and two for PhD degrees. In - country training for NGOs, farmers and extension workers are instrumental in the participating countries.
