Project goal

The project seeks to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the coffee sector in Burundi.

Expected outcomes

  • Construction of a biotechnology laboratory in Burundi to improve coffee research in the country.
Researchers will also be trained both for degree and non-degree programs to increase the competence of the pool of researchers available in Burundi.
