Project’s Goal

The goal of this project is to improve and expand on-farm trial solutions to enhance genetic gains and sustainability in agriculture.

Expected Result

• Developed and implemented OFT standard operating procedures for CGIAR mandate crops.
• Integrated advanced GxExM analyses into the ClimMob platform for breeding pipelines.
• Assessed on-farm genetic gain using OFT data.
• Enabled automatic report generation to inform breeding decisions.
• Trained professionals and integrated the 1000FARMS approach into African university curriculums.
• Established new collaborative arrangements to scale OFT in NARES.
• Developed and implemented a ‘Trials as a Service’ business model.
