Development of climate climate-smart agriculture manual for NGO in Tanzania

Goals

The goal of the project is to strengthen stakeholders’ technical capacity in regenerative agriculture and CSPW, thereby enhancing and sustaining agricultural productivity while restoring degraded landscapes.

Expected results

  1. Development of two training manuals: one for climate-smart public works and one for climate-smart agriculture.
  2. Organization of a validation workshop for the manuals with WFP, partners, and government stakeholders.
  3. Training of trainers (ToT) targeting at least 20 staff from TASAF, WFP, and NGO partners.
  4. Preparation and submission of a workplan outlining technical guidance to NGO implementing partners with milestones and timelines.
  5. Proposal of an approach for technical backstopping of TASAF and NGO partners in climate-smart public works, regenerative agriculture, and community capacity building.
