Objectives

This request for expression of interest follows IITA’s procurement procedures for the need to engage a qualified and experienced organization to review and generate credible, decision-relevant findings that will enable IITA’s Senior Management Team (SMT) to make informed decisions on the future direction, structure, and investment in the IITA Youth Program.

Terms and Conditions for Pre-Qualification

Interested service providers must submit relevant information demonstrating their qualifications and capacity to undertake the services. The following documents are mandatory for consideration:

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Company Profile: Comprehensive company profile detailing relevant experience, staff capabilities, and contact information (company name, physical and postal addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses).
  2. Relevant Experience: Verifiable evidence of experience in:
    1. African agricultural development contexts, youth employment challenges, innovation ecosystems, and policy environments
    2. Youth development programming, preferably in the agriculture and agribusiness sector in Africa.
    3. Design, delivery, and evaluation of youth entrepreneurship, agribusiness incubation, and employment programs.
    4. Conducting program reviews, operational efficiency assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and impact evaluations.
    5. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems, financial analysis, and agriculture value chain development.
  4. Certificate of incorporation/registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  5. Audited Financial statements for the last three years (2023, 2024 and 2025)
  6. Valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2023, 2024, and 2025).
  7. Reference letters from a minimum of three (3) reputable organizations.

Shortlisting of firms will be based on compliance with the above requirements and in line with IITA’s procurement guidelines.
