Ms Leunidah Aukwe-Mwenesi is the Director of People and Culture.

She has served in various senior management roles in both private and NGO sectors. Most recently, she was the Global People Lead (Regional HR Director) at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), where she led initiatives to integrate HR policies and processes across diverse cultures and regions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering a high-performing workforce. Between 2015 and 2021, she worked with International Rescue Committee in different capacities- HR Information Systems Lead and Global Employee Workforce Manager.

Over the years, Ms. Alukwe-Mwenesi has demonstrated exceptional leadership in human resources strategy, talent management, and organizational development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management-Nairobi, and an Executive MBA from Strathmore University in Nairobi-Kenya. Her commitment to modern HR trends ensures the attraction, motivation, and retention of highly qualified talent.
